Going to Get a MAJOR Haircut

Hey!

So, on June 6, 2012, I will be getting my hair chopped off 12 inches (30 cm)! *gasps* Don't worry, it's hair, it's going to grow back anyways. Right now, my hair is this long.
I have a small head so, the hair is pretty long. (Please credit this picture to adropofrain-sunshine.blogspot.ca)

My mom measured my hair for me, and she told me that if 12 inches is cut off, then my hair would come up to my chin. Since I figure skate, I really don't know how I'm going to put my hair up in a ponytail as I always do, but I guess I can to a side french braid, or just wear a headband. I've never FIGURE skated with my hair in a side french braid, but I've skated with a side french braid before. Here's a picture of my hair in a side braid.
This picture was taken somewhere in December

I know that it's not the best side french braid, but this picture was taken after public skating, so it probably is most likely going to be messy. Nowadays, I don't braid my hair a lot because I've been pretty busy with school work and figure skating, but I do remember when I braided a side french braid for one of my TEACHERS. Yeah, I know sounds pretty weird, but it was my gym teacher, and she's one of those young teachers who has a lot of charisma, is really easy to relate to so...yeah.

Back to short hair...

As I was saying before, my hair is going to come up to like my chin, so I was thinking of getting a bob cut. Even if it is short, I think I can still manage to put it in a side french braid. The good thing is that since the haircut is on June 6th, there is still enough time for my hair to grow longer so that when my hair gets chopped off, it wouldn't be very short.

See, Sooyoung from Girls Generation doesn't look bad with short hair. I could get a Sooyoung cut, but I probably won't have bangs because bangs don't really fit my face. We'll see what happens. Before I leave, I just want to show you this hair braid tutorial, it's my favourite, and this is how I learned to do a french side braid.

Alright, it's late so I have to go soon. May all your dreams and wishes come true! ;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IU!

Hey!

So far, this week has been pretty good for me, other than the quizzes. How's your week been going? I hope your week has been going just as good as mine.

Before I start, I just want to mention that someone posted EXO-M's interview on Show Champion with English Subs. Here is the video.

First of all, I would like to say Happy Birthday to IU. I think that she is turning 19. I don't know much about IU's personal issues, but I do know her songs! Let me just say that IU has an amazing voice, I really like it, and I think that she is very talented. I find IU's voice very unique. Compared to other K-Pop artists such as Taeyeon and Seohyun from Girls Generation, it's very different. If you've listened to Twinkle by TTS (TaeTiSeo), you've probably noticed that Taeyeon and Seohyun's are very "jazz" like especially when they sing high notes. While for IU, her voice is very sweet and soft, and when she sings, it just sounds so pretty.

I really like her latest songs, Peach and Every End of the Day. Here is the music video for it.

Every End of the Day

Peach

Personally, I prefer Every End of the Day more, but it's mainly because I like more of an upbeat song, while Peach is more of a very soft and pleasant song. Happy Birthday IU!

Anyways, it's late now. May all your dreams and wishes come true! ;)

In a Bittersweet Mood Today

Hey!

Okay, so I've realized that my picture I posted up last night didn't work. Sorry about that, I think it was because I was using a Macbook. I usually would type on my PC, but since it ran out of batteries and I was too lazy to charge it, I decided to use the Macbook. However, since I'm still not that used to typing with a Macbook, I had trouble typing. Therefore, I do apologize if I made any errors.

Anyways, I have a science quiz and a French quiz tomorrow but I'm confident that I'll do well. EXO-M was on Show Champion and here is the video. Although it doesn't have any English subs, I still hope that you enjoy it.

I thought that they did really good since they got a lot of practice from all those Chinese interviews when they were in China. I was really glad that they still added some Chinese to it since they are a Chinese/Korean group. Even though Chen and XiuMin didn't have a lot of lines, I still thought that they looked really comfortable since they are back in Korea where they grew up. In the Chinese interviews, Chen and XiuMin don't talk much, and they don't really answer questions much, but in Show Champion, XiuMin was very initiative and so was Chen. Although I heard that they lip synced Mama, but I'm still a cheerleader for them. I also heard that they're going to be on Inkigayo, ahhh I'm so excited. I'm sure that they'll do well, even if they lip sync.

On the other hand, I really can't wait until the weekend comes, because I might be able to get EXO-M and EXO-K CDs. I hope that I get them because this is literally the first time that I've followed a kpop band from the beginning to the end. I'm hoping that I get a group card because I truly love all the members of EXO. Yes, yes, I do have my biases in each group, but it's changing every single day so as you can see, I love all of them equally. Even though I'm can't wait for the weekend, my mom is leaving to China for about a month and it's going to be really sad. I really don't know what I'm going to do without her because she's the one that cleans up the house every weekend, and she's the one that cleans my dirty clothes every week. I'm not saying that I like my mom more than my dad, I'm just saying that sometimes, a girl just needs her mom. So I guess it's going to be a bittersweet weekend.

Cute LuMin moment. I wish I can be this happy like XiuMin every single day (Credit: to the uploader)
Great, I gotta go back to my studies. May all your dreams and wishes come true! ;)

Sleepy...

Hey y'all!

I know that it's pretty late and most of you are probably thinking that I'm crazy for writing a blog at a time like this. Well, I'm writing it because it's been a pretty long time since I've updated it. This is going to be a short blog since I'm gonna go to bed soon. The fun in games is over, and school is back. I've had a really relaxing weekend but now, school is going to take over for the next four days. I have a science project that's due in one or two weeks and I haven't even started yet, a geography project that's due in three weeks, a quiz this science this Wednesday, a French and Geography quiz tomorrow, and a science UNIT test next Tuesday. So, I'm most likely going to update my blog on a Wednesday after all of the QUIZZES are done.

Anyways, it's time for me to go to sleep. May all your dreams and wished come true!

Why does it feel like a Friday today?

It feels like a Friday today, I don't know why. Today at school was pretty relaxing, Science and Geography went by pretty fast. Now that the Geography cpt is over, my life has been pretty relaxing...but not for long. I have a Geography quiz either tomorrow or next Monday, a Science quiz next Wednesday, and a Science UNIT the day after Victoria Day. So happy... Since exams are coming up in about a month, I'm guessing that teachers are starting to rush us students so that they can prepare us well for the exams. I honestly can't wait until school is over, then I'll be in grade 10. I still can't believe how fast grade 9 past by, it still feels like it was just yesterday when I first walked into the hallways of high school. Today in science, my friend and I, we were talking about how fast the school year went by. He was telling me how he has a friend that's in grade 12 and she told him that grade 9 and 10 is pretty easy, it goes by fast in grade 9, even faster in grade 10, then in grade 11, it becomes hard and it's slow because there's like this big jump from grade 10 to 11 therefore, it goes by pretty slow, then in grade 12, the teachers are pretty lenient since it's there last year, they're going to graduate and go to university, so there's like no point in being hard on them. Anyways, I'm still really excited that the Geography cpt is over. Finally!

I've been listening to EXO-M and EXO-K full albums on Youtube lately. I find it better than clicking on the next song when each song is over. Here are EXO-M and EXO-K full albums.

EXO-M

EXO-K

After listening to both of the albums, I personally think that EXO-M is just a little better than EXO-K. I don't have anything against EXO-K, like I said before, I like both groups equally but I honestly feel that EXO-M has better vocals but EXO-K has better dancing skills. I think that when EXO-M sings, you can feel their emotion and kind of get emotionally attached to it, while for EXO-K, you can't really feel anything, it's very flat and it's hard to be engaged to it. EXO-M has this voice that makes you keep pressing the "replay" button, well EXO-K is just listening to their album then listening to something else. I'm sure that EXO-K has the technique and the ability to sing well and everything, but there just isn't enough emotion. This is just my opinion, I'm sure that many people will disagree with me.

Alright, I have to get back to my homework. Even though today isn't Friday, it sure felt like one!

I'm back!

Yes yes I know, it's been almost a week since I've updated my blog. I've been so busy lately that I think I almost forgot about it. Even though the tests are over, I'm still pretty busy with homework and assignments. Since we only have about six weeks left of school, I think many of our teachers are behind in work and everything so they're rushing us. *Sigh* Anyways I'm really excited for this week because Exo-M will be on Happy Camp. So excited! Kehehe. I've seen Super Junior M and Lee Min Ho on Happy Camp and both episodes were absolutely hilarious. It's really interesting how even though Lee Min Ho doesn't speak any Chinese, the people were able to make it really funny and interesting. I'm sure that Exo-M will be even more interesting because they have four members that can speak Chinese and two that can also speak Chinese but not as well. If you've seen my previous blog, I showed you some pictures of of Exo-M on Happy Camp, and judging from the pictures, they look really fun.

I've been really into EXO these days especially EXO-M. It's really weird how you can addicted to these stuff. My mom's been noticing that I've been listening to Chinese music lately and at first she was kind of like "huh?" mainly because I don't usually listen to Chinese music. Not only that, I'm starting to go on EXO blogs like http://onexoplanet.wordpress.com/ and http://exokm.wordpress.com/ which shows a lot of pictures of EXO. Like I said before, I'm a cheerleader for country music, which is why most of time, I listen to Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, and The Band Perry on youtube, and I guess once my mom got used to me listening to country music all the time, she didn't really expect me to listen to Chinese and Korea music all of a sudden. Not only that, at home, my parents speak Chinese to each other but I speak English, I sometimes speak Chinese, but mainly English. So technically, if was a HUGE! surprise, but I actually think that she's kind of relieved. Anyways, my mom is going to China soon to visit her family in about two weeks and yesterday, she was asking me if I wanted anything. So I just told her that I really want those Chinese/Japanese/Korean lead pencils.

Isn't this awesome? For some weird reason, I find it really cute.  In  Canada,  it's hard to find these types since most of the mechanical pencils here are the ones that look like pens, unless if you go to Pacific Mall, but it's really expensive there. (Credit: mkxkawaiix3)

So when my mom started noticing that I've been really into Chinese music, she's been really excited. Today when I got home, I showed a picture of EXO-M to her, and I asked her who are the two Koreans and the four Chinese, and she guessed it right! After that, she asked be if I wanted an EXO-M Cd, and I'm  like YES YES YES. She seemed really excited after that, so I'm going to take that as a Yes, but at the same time, I'm really scared because since China does a lot of "pirating" I hope that she picks the real Cd, but I trust her, she's really smart. HeHeHe...♥

I still remember the first Chinese song. It was Bu De Bu Ai by Wilber Pan. It really is a lovely song and I still listen to it today.

I LOVE IT! The first Kpop song I listened to was Gee by Girls Generation, and personally, it's my favourite song by Girls Generation. My second favourite song would probably be The Boys. I was first introduced to the song actually online. There's this Chinese show called Fei Cheng Wu Rao, the English translation is If You are the One. I call it Matchmaker, but some people might beg to differ. Gee is one of the songs they play on the show. One day, I was watching it and I was like I really like this song, and I actually thought it was a Chinese song, but come to find out, it's NOT! Ever since then, I've been really into Kpop.

Nowadays, I'm really into EXO-M and really calm songs like Angel (Into your world) by EXO, No Other by Super Junior and Even If by Sam Concepcion. No Other is by far my absolute favourite song by Super Junior. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! Even If is also a very good song, it reminds of Khuntoria (Nickhun from 2pm and Victoria from fx) because Khuntoria brought me to this song. If you don't know what Khuntoria is, well it's Nickhun from 2pm and Victoria from fx, they were on We Got Married, and a lot of people liked those two. Even If was played when Khuntoria had their first kiss. I will be showing you the lyrics because the music video is really blurry, and Sam sang this when he was really young so his voice is going to sound different now. Ok, I'll stop talking now. Here is Even If by Sam Concepcion.

It's late, and I've got to go back to my homework.
May all your wishes come true!

Still Studying

I've realized that it has been a pretty long time since I've updated my blog. I've been so busy for the past few days. I still have quizzes and tests coming up this week and I've been so tired and stressed out lately that I'm actually a little bit sick. I started having the symptoms on Sunday, I actually didn't go to school yesterday because I lost my voice and I had a huge headache. I felt better this morning so I went to school today, but I kind of have to since I have a geography test today, and if I didn't go, then my geography teacher would start complaining and whining which I really don't want to get involved. Overall, the geography test was okay, it actually wasn't that hard. I expected it to be super hard since my teacher kept telling us that it's going to be super hard and stuff like that, but I guess she was only telling us that to make us study. Pretty smart eh?

I don't know why, but ever since I heard about kpop, I've always been feeling to grow up quickly. Honestly, I really don't even know why I'm feeling this way. Maybe it's because I haven't been a huge cheerleader for high school for the past few days. I don't want to sound like a nerd but, I've always loved school. Whenever I wasn't at school, I would always feel bored at home because I had nothing to do. Now, when I'm at home, I always feel like there is always something to do. However, it's always either listening to kpop or just re-watching kpop interviews, and the problem is that I do have assignments and homework, it's just that...Ok I have an example. Let's just say that I get home from school on a Friday. I usually would watch kpop first then do my homework. I get home from school at like 3:30pm and when I get home, I usually would have a snack, go to the washroom, and just freshen up. I then go up to my room, and it's about 4:00pm. I turn my computer on and start watching kpop stuff, and tell myself that I will start writing my homework at 4:45pm. However, when it says 4:44pm, I'll just be like, one more and that's it, but what happens is that I will eventually get side-tracked and start watching other kpop stuff and yeah...

It's weird because lots of my friends know me as a beginner kpop person since I just started "researching" information on kpop. They think that I only know EXO and Snsd, but I do know more, except I never really talk about it. Anyways I have to go now. Time to study.
