So when found out that Luhan was going to perform with BoA for Only One. My reaction was

Well, I was happy that Luhan got the part and was able to dance with BoA, but at the same time, I was kind of disappointed. Obviously Luhan is the "face" of EXO-M, so I wasn't that surprised, and also when Sehun went to perform with BoA, Luhan was accompanied him. I was really hoping that it would be Unicorn Lay because he's said many many times that he is the dancer of EXO-M and I was really hoping that this would be one of his chances to show off his dancing talent. Luhan is really good dancer, but I was hoping that SM would just give other members of EXO-M a chance. I mean, Kai is the face of EXO-K, but it was Sehun who got to dance with BoA. Well, why can't that be Lay? Plus, Lay was with both Kai and Sehun in a DANCING teaser.
Don't worry Lay, one day, you will get your chance. On a random note, Sehun looks really good here. Anyhow, here is the video of Luhan dancing with BoA
Well, that's all for now otherwise if I keep on continuing, I'm going to get a lot of haters, good luck to EXO in the future, and have a happy school year.
So, I recently finished watching Boys Over Flowers and I have to say that it was awesome. Boys Over Flowers is the first ever Korean Drama I've ever watched and the drama really got me interested in Kdramas. Right now I'm currently watching To the Beautiful You starring Minho and Sulli, and Meteor Shower which is the Chinese version of Boys Over Flowers. So here is a picture of Boys Over Flowers and Meteor Shower.
From left to right: Kim Joon as Song Woo Bin, Kim Bum as So Yi Jung, Lee Min Ho as Gu Jun Pyo, Koo Hye Sun as Geum Jan Di, and Kim Hyun Joong as Yoon Ji Hoo (Credit: to the rightful owner)

If you've seen Meteor Shower, then you probably know that the plot is twisted in a unique way which I personally find it really interesting because it's not really fun watching Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese version all following the same plot. Anyways, I don't really think that EXO-M fits the Meteor Shower character's personalities, but for Boys Over Flowers, they do.
I honestly can see Kris as Gu Jun Pyo just because he is the tallest out of all six, and he has that angry bird face like Jun Pyo. Jun Pyo's is a very protective person, and Kris definitely has that protective aura around him, but at the same time, Jun Pyo does smile a lot and I think if Kris tried, he can definitely produce a bright smile. I definitely see Kris do the same things as Jun Pyo.

As for So Yi Jun, I definitely think Tao would be the best fit because when Tao smiles, he has that "player" look and plus he's really good looking. Yi Jung's character is very flirtations, has that arrogance, but at the same time, we did see Yi Jung's soft side when he was with Ga Eul. Although Tao is a shy person, we've all seen Tao's arrogance or should I say confidence when he was on Do Your Best when he was high up in the air singing MAMA. I think that if Tao gained just a little bit more confidence, I know that he would play a good Yi Jung. Plus there are a lot of fighting scenes in Boys Over Flowers and I think that Tao should definitely show off his talent in wushu. Or, they could add a scene where Tao save Ga Eul from robbers using his awesome wushu skills.

I think that Luhan fits best with Ji Hoo because of both their personalities. Both Ji Hoo and Luhan have that kindness and vulnerability in their eyes. Ji Hoo smiles a lot in the drama just like Luhan in real life. Almost every interview EXO-M has been, Luhan always smiles, and both are very caring people. I think that the main difficulty for Luhan is that Ji Hoo is very nice, and gentle which Luhan has but, Ji Hoo is also very manly, he rides on motorcycles, he kisses Jan Di, and he does punch people in the drama. Punching is honestly something that I can't see Luhan do but for some reason, I do see Luhan riding a motorcycle and kissing Jan Di. Other than that, Luhan has the same hairstyle as Ji Hoo and the same smile which makes him the perfect Ji Hoo.
See, they're just like twins. Except one's Korean, and the other one is Chinese (Credit: to the rightful owner)
In terms of Woo Bin, I'm torn between either Lay or Hangeng. I'm leaning towards Hangeng more than Lay because Woo Bin's character is really mature and I just don't think Lay is mature enough. I really don't know, what do you guys think?
What do you guys think? Hangeng or Lay?
For Geum Jan Di, I think Victoria from fx is the best fit because they both have that cuteness. I think that Victoria is extremely cute, but I do have a hard time seeing her yelling. However, I maybe wrong, since she already has acting experience starring Ya Yin at a new Taiwanese drama, When Love Walked In. I do see Victoria doing things like what Jan Di did, for example the high kick, wearing that Wonder Woman outfit, and being drunk. I'm not gonna lie, I do think that many people will be jealous of Victoria because she does get to kiss both Luhan and Kris.

So, there you go! Here's the EXO-M or the Chinese SM version of Boys Over Flowers.
Here's a little recap.
Victoria Song as Geum Jan Di
Kris Wu as Gu Jun Pyo
Luhan as Yoon Ji Hoo
Tao as So Yi Jung
Hangeng/Lay as Song Woo Bin
What do you all think of the cast and who should play Woo Bin? Hangeng or Lay?
So this is a picture of Kris in the Korean version of Hana Kimi. I thought that it was pretty funny since the way the pictures are laid out reminds me of a high school yearbook. Speaking of highschool year books, a while ago on tumblr, someone revealed Kris's highschool years. I think the first picture was taken either in 9th or 10th grade.

WOW! Kris has changed a lot! Although I have to say that he doesn't look that different from the way he looks now, apart from his dyed hair and his dyed eyebrows, Kris still has that angry bird face, and his nose looks completely the same thing. Some differences are that he seems more tanned in grade 9/10 than he does now, but of course when you are in the kpop industry, many artists are expected to be very pale, which I personally disagree because if you are too pale, it's going to seem like you have some sort of disease. Another difference I see are his eyebrows. Kris's eyebrows today seems more bushy than they did before. I personally prefer the bushy eyebrows because it gives his face more depth, and it gives his fans like charismatic face, while thin eyebrows kind of gives you that blank look on your face. The next picture of Kris, is completely different.

WHOA!! I think this picture was taken in 11th grade. No offence to Kris and Kris's fangirls, but he does not look good here. I don't know if it's the picture but I think that he really needs to shave, and get a professional hair stylist. Maybe it was a bad hair day, I have absolutely know idea what's going on in this picture. Although I do have to admit that his eyebrows look way better, he still has that angry bird face, and maybe it's the angle that the picture was taken but he looks like he got a nose job. Because of the hair, I don't know if he got ears pierced. On a random note, the picture says "point grey secondary," so I went online and typed in Point Grey Secondary and it has its own Wikipedia page. Click here to see the Wikipedia page. On the Wikipedia page, it has a list of notable alumni, and there's a lot of notable alumni including Mr. Wu. If Kris wanted to become a kpop artist at a very young age, then he might have already known that Point Grey Secondary has a lot of notable alumni.
During Kris's highschool years, he definitely looked like the archetypal character of the "bad boy" but now, he's turned into an angel from heaven

Of course, I think all the girls wish to have Kris as their guardian angel. Honestly, who would have ever thought that Kris went from a blank face, to a "bad boy", and now to a guy that girls fall over for. It really shows how people can really change. After looking at his pre debut pictures, it kind of reminds of that story "The Ugly Duckling," but I won't elaborate on that because otherwise I'm going to get out of control talking about it so yeah...
So I know it's been a very long time since I've updated my blog, you know, it's kind of nice taking break from blogging. Back to my blog...
EXO recently traveled to Thailand to promote (obviously!), and came back. To be completely honest, I was surprised that they would go to Thailand instead of Taiwan. I mean 4/12=1/3 can speak fluent Chinese so that the rest of the members won't have problem with the language barrier, plus Chen and Xiumin's Chinese is improving, and EXO-K can always ask EXO-M for help with their Chinese. However, most SM groups eventually go to Taiwan anyways, so I guess it won't be long until EXO travels to Taiwan.
Super Junior M in Taiwan
Right now, EXO is currently working on their new album which I can't wait! I really hope that My Lady will be their new album, and I hope there will be songs that Kris and Lay wrote. However, what I'm really excited for is that a while ago on weibo, the Hunan Do Your Best team wants EXO-M to come back and record another show!
On tumblr, they are showing some pre debut pictures of Luhan.
Do you know where Luhan is?
I thought that this was really cute because now I realize why Luhan is really tall. Another thing is that Kris isn't the only one that plays basketball, in the future, I would love to see Luhan vs. Kris. Hehehe...
Oh yes, my pointillism painting is coming along, I only have to do the bottom part like the lake part and I'm done, and yes, I did promise to upload my short hair don't worry, it's still short, it's just that I can't find the cable that attaches to the computer so yeah... School is definitely around the corner, I recently got new uniforms, and I haven't done much this summer other than reading the Lorien Legacies, so I'm going to this volunteer workshop where I have to bring a resume and a cover letter, and I have no idea what I'm going to write. However, this is life and in the future when I'm looking for a job, I will have to write a resume and a cover letter AGAIN, but this is all part of experience.
So I know that it has been awhile since I've uploaded my blog, but that's because I've been so busy hanging out with my friends, going to the mall, sleepovers, and I've been really busy with my skating schedule. For the past few days I've been reading the Lorien Legacies which btw is a really awesome series. I've finished reading the first two books, now waiting for the third book to come out. For those who have never heard of the Lorien Legacies, you should definitely read it, once you open the book, you'll be hooked.
First two books of the Lorien Legacies
I'm not going to talk much about it since, that's not my point. I remember back in grade 7, my teacher taught us a whole unit on the art of pointillism. For some reason, I've been really obsessed with pointillism the past few days, and I decided that I will paint this picture of New York City, using pointillism.

I know that it's going to be difficult, but I believe that I will be able to accomplish it in time before school starts. I'll tell you right now that I'm not the best artist, but I'm going to my best.
All you EXO fans out there probably have already heard the news about EXO being part of SM Entertainment's new dram "To the Beautiful You" aka Hana Kimi aka Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. About four or five months ago, I've already heard that Minho from Shinee, and Sulli from f(x) will be starring in the upcoming romantic/comedy/high school drama called Hana Kimi. For those who doesn't know what Hana Kimi is, here is a brief summary.
Based on a popular comic, this hilarious comedy follows the chaos, troubles and friendship at a boys’ boarding school after a girl-disguising-a-boy joins. Ashiya Mizuki has just come back to Japan from California where she was raised. She fell in love with Sano Izumi, a hopeful high jump hero, who has quit after an accident. As she wants him to go back to the sport once again, she enters the same high school as a boy! With a short hair, flattened chest and lowered voice, she starts sharing the same room with Sano. --Fuji Creative
The Japanese dram of Hana Kimi came out in 2007, and it's been about three to four years since I've last watched it, and since back then, no one added any English subtitles, I really had no idea what was happening other than the fact that Ashiya wanted Sano to jump. Plus, I was in grade 5 back then, and I wasn't the brightest student. Anyways, here is the Japanese cast of Hana Kimi. However, if you go on Youtube, you can watch Hana Kimi with full English subtitles, which is what I'm doing right now. I'm currently on episode 6.
Here is a picture of the Japanese Hana Kimi main cast.

3 Main Characters
Ashiya Mizuki is played by Horikita Maki
Sano Izumi is played by Oguri Shun
Nakatsu Shuichi is played by Ikuta Toma
It is definitely worth watching it because it is absolutely hilarious and embarrassing. I personally have to give props to Ikuta Toma because he definitely got the hardest character to play. He played a character that kissed a guy, went threw "homo" issues, and did a lot of embarrassing stuff such as dancing in a bra and wearing an underwear on his head. Here's the clip.
HAHAHAHAAHAHA! I laughed so loud when I saw this part. This is definitely a memorable moment. As you all know that Ashiya is actually a girl, and Nakatsu started to develop a crush on "him" which lead Nakatsu believing in himself that he is a "homo." (By the way, in NO way, am I trying to offend those who are bisexual, I am just commenting on the drama).
Excellent work Ikuta, you did a wonderful job in playing the toughest character, Nakatsu.
I hope that the SM version will be just as interesting, and funny as the Japanese version. On a disappointing note, I am sad to say that Tao, Xiumin, and Chen won't be part of the drama, I have absolutely no idea why, but I'm sure that in the future, Tao, Xiumin, and Chen will be starring in their own drama's.

Since I don't know Korean, I'm just going to assume that the EXO members are probably playing extras. I'm sure that they will get lines but, but probably not alot.
I'm really excited for the kiss between Minho and Sulli because apparently someone said that SM Entertainment does not allow SM members to kiss other SM members. For example, Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Sunny from Girls Generation, faked kiss during Catch Me if You Can, the musical. I hope that they don't fake kiss because that will definitely ruin the drama. Also, I personally find that lots of Asian (Korean, Japanese, maybe Chinese and Taiwanese) dramas don't have very good kissing scenes. For me, I don't watch a lot of Asian dramas, but whenever I do, the kiss scene is always just a long peck, like there's no connection, no emotion, like ZERO! The only Korean drama that I know that has a good kiss scene is City Hunter. I think that if there is supposed to be a passionate kissing scene between Minho and Sulli, the director would probably tell the them they are going to fake kiss, and they'll probably use a camera trick to make seem like it's real, sort of like the "kiss" between Sandara Park and Minho in Kiss Note. Minho is a great actor, but I'm crossing my fingers that they won't fake kiss.
I think that the drama is going to air on August 8, 2012. I am absolutely ecstatic and I can't wait!

P.S You can go on Youtube to watch the Japanese version of Hana Kimi with full English subs
P.P.S There is also a Taiwan version of Hana Kimi, I haven't watched it yet, but I will as soon as I finish watching the Japanese version.
So, a few months ago, I showed my parents EXO-M and EXO-K's music video for Mama and History, I even showed my parents their predebut pictures, and how they look now. Personally, I find all twelve guys in EXO very attractive, but not my parents. They think that they look like GIRLS. WHAT? Well, after listening to my parent's thoughts of EXO, I decided to take a look myself to see if they really do look like girls. After a long evaluation, I have to say that, some of them, unfortunately do look like girls. HOWEVER, I blame it on their hairstyles.
I don't know if you know this, but I've only started listening to kpop since December, and I've realized that the men kpop hairstyles are all basically the same thing. They have their bangs infront of their face, kind of like a Bieber cut. Don't get me wrong, I am a belieber, but I just don't think Bieber cuts fits the world of Kpop. For example, Chanyeol from EXO-K.

When I saw this picture, I actually thought that it was a girl (Credit: as tagged)
You know, I'm perfectly fine with Chanyeol always smiling and being cute, but it's the hairstyle that always gets in the way. I'm a huge fan of EXO (obviously), but they (especially EXO-K) need to get better hairstylists. The first picture of Chanyeol with long hair reminded me of ancient China, when all the men had long hairstyles. The second picture of Chanyeol at the airport just reminded me of a very very tall girl. You see, I personally prefer when his hair is spiked up like when he made an appearance in TTS`s Twinkle, or his predebut days. I even like his hair better when it`s curled up! . To be completely honest, I almost feel like he looks better during his predebut days.

See! Hair spike up! (Credit: to the rightful owner)
I really hope that the EXO hairstylists will change their hairstyles (especially Chanyeols). On a random note, I really think that the makeup artists will stop putting eyeliner on guys, for example when Kris wore eyeliner during the Smtown concert in Anaheim, California, during the press conference when he wore a white jacket, black eyeliner, seems like he was wearing nude lipstick, a lot of foundation, and I think he was even wearing some blush. If you would like to see the video click here. Just as I thought Kris was the most masculine guy in EXO.
Just look how manly all the EXO-K members look with their hair spiked up.

I find it very interesting that in American music/fashion/movie industry, the guys basically all have their hair spiked up. Compare this...

As you can see, the top picture is the 2011 Golden Globes, and these five handsome men were considered as "best-dressed." I really don't care on what they're wearing other than the fact that none of these men have "Chanyeol Hair." While on the bottom picture, all the guys (except for one) have their hair down in different variations of "Bieber Hair".
The only person that is in the American music industry (I can think of) who has "Chanyeol Hair" is Justin Bieber but, he did change hairstyle from long to short.
Credit: rightful owner
I guess my whole point is that, I love kpop, but the guys seriously needs to get new hairstyles. I understand that not all kpop men have the "Bieber" cut but, most of them do. If they are really happy their hair, then they should keep it, as Michelle Phan always says "Happiness is beauty." I might sound bitter (which I am), but at the end of the day, I will always love BOTH kpop and American music.
