EXO update

Here are some updates on EXO-M and EXO-K

EXO-M recently just finished filming Happy Camp, now they're going to Indonesia with Super Junior to film Super Show 4. I hope that they do a good job, and I wish them good luck!
Here is a video on youtube of EXO-M on Super Show 4 Indonesia singing MAMA. The sound isn't that good but at least it's better than nothing.

I don't usually update EXO-K mainly because since EXO-K sings in Korean, I don't actually understand what they're singing, while for EXO-M, I can actually understand it. I don't have anything against EXO-K it's just that I'm kind of a lazy person, and I don't have time learning Korean. Anyways, EXO-K recently performed on MAMA on Music Bank.

Complaining and whining...again

So so sorry.

I've been so busy these days. I have a geography unit test on Tuesday, a French quiz on Monday, and a Science quest on Thursday. I'm really nervous for my geography UNIT test because it is a unit test, and my geography teacher told us that it's going to be really hard! The problem is that her quizzes, has a lot of fill-in-the-blanks which I'm perfectly fine with, but fill-in-the-blank questions are designed to make the answers obvious and are designed to have only ONE word or a phrase to fill in. However, in her blanks, the answer, there can be more than one way to answer it.

For example: As elevation goes up, the temperature________.
As you can see, there can be more than one word to put in the blank. It can be, cooling, decreasing, goes down, etc. Not only that, say if the answer is decreasing, and you put in cooling, sometimes she won't give you the mark, which really sucks. Anyways, I'm really nervous, but I am studying my butt off right now hoping and praying that I do well on the test.

Sometimes, I really don't understand teachers. Just the other day, my parents went to parent teacher interview, and (I'm pretty sure by now, you know that I am not a cheerleader of my geography teacher) well, when my parents came back, my parents told me that they love my geography teacher. I was like, WHAT?! My mom complimenting her, and blah blah blah... and I told her that it was all just an act. I don't understand why teachers have to put on this lovey dovey act when they meet the student's parents. Honestly, if the teachers can just be a good teacher to his/her students and are nice to them, I'm sure that there won't be any crazy people out there (like me) who complain and whine about her all the time.

EXO-M on Happy Camp

For those who don't know what Happy Camp is, it's this Chinese variety show that airs every week. It features some of the most famous celebrities as guest stars, from South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong. It is one of China's most popular shows. I guess this week is EXO-M's turn. I'm not sure when it will be aired, but I hope soon.

Here's some pics of EXO-M on Happy Camp

Judging from the pictures, they probably sang history and they all look like they are having a blast. I'm very happy for them. Like I said before, Chen is usually very shy on camera, from the previous interviews, Chen usually looks very nervous, but from the pictures, he looks like he is having a wonderful time. OMG! Kris is way too tall, but in a way, I like it. Hehehe. Xiu Min and Luhan doing their aegyo, so cute. Lay looks really excited, I think it's because they're filming in Lay's hometown, Changsha. Luhan updated their official website saying that they're going to Lay's hometown to film Happy Camp.

I'm really excited for them. I heard that they're going back to Korea tomorrow, then after ONE day of rest, they're going to Indonesia for Super Show 4. Anyways, that's it for now, BYE!

My random thoughts...

So tired...

To be completely honest I really don't even know why I'm writing my blog at 10pm. Well, maybe I guess it's because I'm starting to sleep really late lately, so today when I got home from school, I did my homework, watched some anime, and went right to sleep. When I woke up, I took a shower, and now that I'm completely awake, I don't think I'll be able to sleep. For some reason, whenever I take a nap, I can't sleep, that's why I don't like taking naps. I don't mind taking naps over the weekend because I don't have school, so I can stay up late, and it won't really affect me. However, when I take naps during school days, I get really worried cause then I won't be able to sleep and then I'm just going to have a horrible day of school the next day. Oh well, what can you do, maybe I'll drink some warm milk to make me sleep, or I'll just take one of those sleeping pills.

RANDOMs...

I know I talk a lot about EXO-M and everything mainly because they're Chinese, and I can actually understand them. Don't get me wrong, I love EXO-M and EXO-K equally, their phrase is even "We are one" but since I'm Chinese and everything, it is easier for me to understand them better. Since in K-pop history, you don't see much Chinese people. I understand that it's k-pop, it's Korean pop, but... So far, the only Chinese people in k-pop are Zhang Li Yin, Jia (Miss A), Fei (Miss A), Victoria (fx), Henry (Super Junior), Zhou Mi (Super Junior) and EXO-M. I'm sure that there are more, but it is rare to see Chinese in Korean bands.

Since I'm a fan of EXO and Snsd and they're both from SM company, here is a video of some SM stars singing a song together. It's kind of old but it's a really good song, and it brought me to tears when I heard it.

It features Luhan and D.O from EXO!

EXO-M and my terrible life

I would first like to start by apologizing for not writing my blog for two days in a row.

I was really busy over the weekend with projects and tests coming up. I have a science isu (individual study unit) due this Wednesday, and a science unit test this Friday. So, my science isu, we have to learn this space unit all by ourselves by answering questions from the textbook that our teacher gave us. These questions count 20% of our isu because we then do a test that is out of 30, which counts for 80% of the isu, but we get to use our notes so it is not that bad.

Anyways, remember how I told you guys that my geography teacher will always tell you last minute that you have a test/quiz the day before you write itÉ(sorry my keyboard is having some issues) Well she did it again! I`m so frustrated right now because it`s not the first time she`s done it! Ughhh!!! Like come on. Please just give us a break! PLEASE!!

Now, news on EXO-M!!

Today, EXO-M went to record their Avenue of Stars. It hasn`t been broadcasted it, and judging by the pictures, I think that they sang MAMA.

I`m not sure when they will broadcast this but I am looking forward to it. I know that I just started blogging, but I might not be blogging over the weekends just because I`m always busy those days, but when I have time, I will. Again, I do apologize, my keyboard is a bit messed up right now, I don`t know why the apostrophe and the question mark is not working. I think I pressed a key or something, I`ll try and fix it.
Anyways, until then, bye for now!

EXO-M on Yin Yue Tai

The time has come...

Yin Yue Tai has released the the full EXO-M interview. Out of the interviews EXO-M has done, Sina, Sohu, Tudou, NetEase, Youku, and today YinYueTai, I would have to say that this is the best one so far.

My second favourite interview would be the Youku interview because I loved that host. She was so cute and she made the interview lively, and even though the oppas were nervous, at least she made them feel relaxed. For those that haven't seen the Youku interview, you can go on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42Kl8v-UkWc. It has English subtitles so for those who don't understand Mandarin, you will be fine. ;)

I am super super super happy that the YinYueTai interview finally come out. The preview came out on April 14, 2012 and I knew for a fact that it was going to be an awesome interview mainly because everyone looked really relaxed, and they all looked like they were having a fun time.

For the first time, all the members looked like they were really comfortable. Kris usually doesn't smile, but ever since the Sina interview, he's been starting to smile more and more, and his smiles are absolutely adorable. Lay, with his awesome dancing, singing, and guitar playing skills. Honestly, what can this guy not do? Luhan was just being cute like he always is with his awesome rubik's cube skills. Xiu Min with his aegyo. Kawai!! Xiu Min, why do you have to ruin my EXO-M bias list?! Since Chen is Korean, we don't really see him talk, plus he is really shy, and for the first time, he came out of his shell. By the way, Chen did awesome with the Chinese tongue twister. Tao, Tao, Tao, when you watch him in his teasers and the music videos, you see a guy that has amazing wushu skills, someone that can fight and protect you, but in real life, he's actually really cute and shy. Him being emotional was so cute.

Here is the YinYueTai interview

Unfortunately it doesn't have English subs, but when there is one that comes out, I will post it on my blog.

My thoughts on the interview
  1. I personally thought that this is one of the best interviews EXO-M had
  2. Everyone was really relaxed, they all looked like they were having a good time
  3. I love how everyone had plush dolls, they're too cute. I thought that the angry bird that Kris held really suited him since he kind is an angry bird.
  4. My favourite part was definitely when EXO-M members had to pick numbers, and each number had a name of an EXO-K member, and Luhan picked number three, which was Sehun!! HunHan FIGHTING!
  5. They had a really good host, he asked some really interesting questions for the members which was really refreshing! I still remember the first two interviews they had, and the questions were basically the same
  6. Tao, don't cry, your hyungs/gege will always be there for you and so will your fans. You will always be loved. Remember, when you cry, we will cry, when you smile, we will smile with you
  7. I love how when Tao was crying, Chen and Luhan were comforting him, and Xiu Min was shaking that plush toy infront of Tao's face kind of like what a mother does to her baby. They're so nice.
  8. I personally think that Chen and Xiu Min are improving in their Chinese skills. Keep working hard oppas, I know that one day you will be fluent in Mandarin!
  9. To be honest, I did felt like SM wasn't exactly being fair. I mean in both Youku and this YinYueTai interview, the EXO-M members gave out a shout out for EXO-K and Luhan even wished Se Hun happy birthday. I just hope that EXO-K will also give shout outs to EXO-M.
I do know what Tao feels like right now. I've never been one of those homesick people, but I do know what it feels like to miss your friends and your family. When I was in grade five, I had to move cities, move to a new school. The worst part of it was how I went to that school ever since junior kindergarten. I missed my friends and teachers so much, I still remember when I went to my new school, I actually cried a bit. Don't worry Tao, when you and your group members fly back to Korea, I'm sure that EXO-K will be there greeting you with flowers.

Highlights
  • When Xiu Min was smelling that drink and made that face/sound cause it smelt bad. So cute!
  • Luhan doing the rubiks cube less than a minute
  • Xiu Min doing his aegyo
  • Chen said the Chinese tongue twister
  • OMG! Is it honestly fate that Luhan picked Se Hun?! Go team HunHan!
  • That awkward moment when Kris goes to accept his "award" and has to bend down to the height of the microphone because he's too tall.
  • Xiu Min fed Tao and Luhan

Tests and Quizzes

Yesterday, I wrote my geography quiz and my science quiz.

I thought that the science quiz was super easy. On the hand, my geography quiz was okay... I guess. I mean you can't really blame a student for failing a geography quiz if your teacher tells you that you're going to have a quiz the day before you write it. Look at it this way, my teacher literally gave our class less than 24 hours to study for it, on top of that, we have homework, projects, assignments, and other quizzes/tests to write. I realize that students should be studying their notes every single day, but I'm sure that students have other priorities. For example, what if an emergency happens and you can't do your homework or study for your test. You can't blame anyone, neither yourself.

Excuses, excuses... I hear that from my teachers every single day. Sometimes, I feel like teachers don't understand kids. They act like they know how you feel, they act like they also understand the student just as much as the student does. Well, they are WRONG! They are teachers, we are students, their school days are over, and our school days are still going on. They don't have to write exams anymore, we still DO!!! I'm sure that when teachers see kids complaining about homework, projects, tests/quizzes, and assignments, deep down inside, they're probably laughing their butts off.

Well, what can I do? There really isn't much to do other than be confident in yourself and just keep working. Trust me, I know what it feels like, I'm in my first year of high school, and I'm already feeling the pressure. It's time for me to get back to my studies. You know, I not a coffee drinker, I'm a hot chocolate drinker, but because of the school stress, I might start drinking coffee!

Bye for now!

Luhan! Why do you have to be so cute. I love how he's wearing a skull shirt for his angelic face. I guess opposites do attract. Hehe...

LUHAN you're killing me! Why do you have to have that angel face of yours? I still can't believe you're turning 22. Even though you may not be the youngest, to me, you are the maknae of EXO-M. Now, all I have to do is patiently wait for a video of Sehun wishing you happy birthday.

Japan

I was walking home from school today, and I noticed that there's this cherry blossom tree that I pass every single day and I haven't even noticed it until today.

It's sooo pretty! (credit to the owner of this)

Speaking of cherry blossom trees, since cherry blossom trees originate from Japan, it just reminds me of Japan. I actually traveled to Japan when I was very young. I stayed there for about a week. Although I was young back then, I still remember the beautiful scenery, and the spaciousness of the country.

Mount Fuji (credit to the owner)

Mount Fuji is considered sacred to the Japanese people and it is recognized as the symbol of its country. I still remember that day when I saw the grand mountain. I was riding a bullet train to Tokyo. Since my dad was working in Nagoya, Japan at that time, my mom and I flew to Nagoya for about a week. My dad took my mom and I on a ride of a bullet train to Tokyo because we were going to Disney Land! Disney Land will definitely be part of my childhood memories.

Another wonderful things I love about Japan is their koi ponds. They're just sooo pretty. For some reason every time when I think about it, it makes me calm and peaceful. I guess it's because of the fish, the scenery, and the tranquility. I just love how there's the fish inside the pond, there's rocks beside it, maybe some statues, and this green scenery around it. It's magnificent!

Here's a video I found on Youtube, it's probably by far my favourite video on koi ponds

Interesting isn't it. Anyways, whenever you're feeling angry or frustrated, you should try looking at some koi pond pictures, hopefully it will calm you down a little bit. Bye for now!

I LOVE EXO-M AND MBLAQ

Just got back from school. Ahh...

Did my French quiz, I think it went okay. I just found out today that I have a geography quiz tomorrow. Great. Now I have a science quiz, a science lab due tomorrow, and a geography quiz tomorrow. Yay!

Like I said before, I'm a huge EXO fan. I recently found out this EXO-M video on youtube.
I love this video. Xiu Min looks so cute here.

I know that this video is kind of old. It was posted about three or four days ago, but I didn't have a blog back then. It's probably one of my favourite videos of EXO-M mainly because all the guys look so relaxed. In their previous interviews, such as the Sina and Sohu interview you could tell that they were very nervous and very stressed out because they didn't want to mess up or anything. I can't wait until they post up the full interview, and I will make sure to post it up on my blog. Here is another video I just found.

OMG! I just have to say that these two boys were born to dance. The song they're dancing to is Maybe by Jay Sean. Although it's nice seeing them dancing like a boss, it really is too bad that they're not getting enough attention. If you notice, every kpop group has person with the "face". For example, Super Junior has Siwon, Shinee has Taemin, F(x) has Krystal, SNSD had Yoona, etc... With EXO, the "face" for EXO-K is Kai, and EXO-M is Luhan. So unfortunately, people like Lay and Xiumin won't be featured much, even if Lay is the main dancer. :(

I'm also a huge Mblaq fan. My bias in Mblaq would probably be Thunder. I really don't know why, I think it's because of his interesting voice, and the fact that he was chosen 15 days prior to their debut which is huge considering the fact that most kpop stars takes about at least a year just to get prepared for their debut and future lives as kpop stars.

My all-time favourite song by them would definitely be Y.

I really like the dance and the singing, but the costume
of the song is really bugging me. I don't know why

Yes, yes, I know that Y is a pretty old song, but I love it! The only problem I have with this music video is the costumes, but everything else is PERFECT!!

Have to go now, I have to finish my science lab report, and study for a geography and science quiz tomorrow. HELP!!! Bye for now!

Homework, homework, homework...

I thought that high school was supposed to fun and interesting. Like those chick flick movies, for example A Cinderella Story, the one with Hilary Duff in it.
One of my favourite chick flick movies

Why can't chick flicks be a reality? *sniffle* *sniffle*

UNFORTUNATELY! That is not the case. My first semester was good, I had awesome teachers. I had Religion, math, gym, and english for first semester. My second semester is science, geography, french, and business technology. My second semester teachers are okay... I guess it's kind of my fault because, if I had just talked to guidance to balance out my schedule, I would've been fine, but what can I say, I'm a quiet person.

Like I said before, I love chick flick movies, but sometimes I wish that the directors and the writers would make if more realistic. I mean, if a 10 year old girl was watching this, she's probably thinking that is what will happen to her when she goes to high school. She'll fall in love with a popular kid, they'll eventually end up together and live a happy life with her "soulmate". Well, I'm pretty sure that when reality finally settles on her that this is just a movie and not reality, she'll be devastated. However, if the writers decide to make the movie more realistic, then girls won't be so moody when they get into highschool; but then again, it wouldn't be much of a movie if the main character doesn't end up living happily ever after with her Prince Charming.

The thing is that, all of my second semester courses are the courses I'm weak in. I never was a huge fan of science, geography would always get my mind dizzy, I get confused in French all the time, and business technology, well, what can I say, we do a lot of useless things in business technology.

Anyways, I did a business technology test today, which I'm pretty sure I failed. I have geography, science homework, and a french quiz tomorrow. *sigh* Bye for now!
